This adult Stone Fly is emerging and another waits it seems. It had rained the night before and was hot and humid just the kind of weather they like to emerge in. They almost always emerge in this area in the safety of darkness but if i am lucky and persistent i sometimes find one emerging late enough to get a photo but this is extremely rare.
