The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The right tree and the right light! Wow! That light just can be so amazing when it is there. With winter upon us i see more gray dull and overcast days. The sunlight can and is a powerful natural tool for us photographers. This amazing eagle doesn't mind having me take it's photo at all and i do not mind that it sits right there in that great light. This photo was taken with a Canon 6D L100-400 mm. Lens near Kaukauna,Wisconsin.
