Description
Kestrels are a very small hawk and are very jumpy which makes them hard to photograph. I think there may be a nest nearby and that is why it stayed put and let me get these great photos. We had an ice storm 2 days before I took this photo and yet the ice was still around to add to the image.
I may yet upload an image yet or two as I did some a little closer and different poses as well. To capture this bird at this time for me is very rare indeed.
