Description
This is a hot rod made from parts of other oldies. The artist who put this together will let me know a little bit more latter on. So cool! That is an antique racing helmet inside the car. Here is information on the building of this art piece from the builder and owner. I am the builder of this hot rod that is owned by Dale Attoe. It took Part
of one winter in my garage. the motor is a 292 straight six and the tranny
is a 400 that I had laying around. The chop is 4 inches. Dale wanted 5
inches but the head would have stuck through the top. The shifter is
custom and the shift rod is off my old sears snow blower turn chute. The
rear deck lid is an old Durante deck lid Dale owned we cut down and built
a frame around. The floor was also custom built with almost all old steel
from an old Walters truck. There was no floor when the shell arrived at my
house in pieces. This was one giant puzzle. It was great fun building and
I know Dale is having a ball with it. Tim Parsons of Cubby
